Chelsea Behanna, standing up for the citizens of Lafayette!

After being appointed by a council of diverse members to fill a vacancy in August of 2016, Chelsea is now campaigning to earn your vote to continue to serve our community for another four years because she has already proven herself to be a strong leader capable of making positive change for the citizens of Lafayette.

Chelsea quickly jumped into issues such as attainable housing, responsible community and economic development, multimodal transportation and climate change. She is currently the liaison to Lafayette’s Historic Preservation Board (HPB) and the Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee (LESAC).

Over these next four years Chelsea's main focal points are protection of the environment, generating more attainable housing options, monitoring our growth to ensure a balance and creating a more inclusive community.
